Is BinDay free?
Yes, the basics are. See your schedule, confirm your bin day once, and we'll remind you the night before. Premium is €2.99 a month and adds the AI scanner, deposit tracking, morning reminders and extra addresses.
Which bin collectors does BinDay know about?
Panda, Greyhound, City Bin Co, Thorntons, Country Clean, AES (Bord na Móna), Clean Ireland Recycling and about 30 smaller local collectors, plus every council area. Some schedules come straight from the collector. For the rest, you confirm your own bin day.
How do I find my bin day?
Tell us who collects your bins, then enter your Eircode. Not sure who it is? Enter your Eircode and we'll show the collectors we know for your area, or you can pick your council.
Does BinDay work outside Dublin?
Yes. There's a page for every county, and collectors from Donegal to Kerry.
What is the Re-Turn deposit return scheme?
Re-Turn is Ireland’s deposit scheme for plastic bottles and cans. You pay 15c or 25c extra when you buy a drink and get it back at a return point. BinDay finds return machines near you, and Premium keeps track of your receipts.
